Different Types of Removable Dentures

- Unilateral free ended: Some or all teeth on one side of the top or bottom missing with no teeth in back of the area.
- Unilateral bounded: Missing teeth in the middle of one side, prosthetic teeth anchored to surrounding teeth.
- Bilateral bounded: Missing teeth on one side that extend beyond the middle of the arch, to the central incisors.
The only difference between these styles is their location, which determines how they are supported.
