When you come to Dr. Q Dental, you receive both general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry from a single practice. We are supported by an assistant, registered dental assistant, hygienist, and insurance office manager.
Beyond our experience, what makes our team special is our commitment to a better patient experience. Not only do we follow all OSHA regulations and CDC guidelines, but you can expect to receive timely care, excellent communication, and personal attention. It is our goal to make you feel as though you are visiting a friend’s home—not a dental office—so that you are comfortable at every stage of treatment.

Marie Ann Kato, B.S. – Registered Dental Hygienist
Marie is a dental professional with coaching experience who builds relationships with her patients by sharing her Aloha, effectively implementing personalized dental hygiene care for high-quality periodontal care, and implementing systems that impact the overall health of patients.
Marie began working with us in 2006 as Office Manager. She received her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and has been serving our patients as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2013. Marie also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Hawaii.
In addition to her chairside clinical skills and experience, she gained experience in Corporate America as a Fine Jewelry Buyer where her experience and knowledge of business elevates her practice as a hygienist and team member. Marie is passionate and dedicated to helping her patients transform their lives through hygiene education.
Marie is also a continuing education junkie and is a member of a couple of dental hygiene mastermind groups. Marie, her husband Gary, and her son Tyler enjoy golfing and traveling.
Jennifer Garcia – Registered Dental Assistant/Treatment Coordinator/Office Manager
Jennifer has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She enjoys being a part of a caring team that always puts the needs of the patients first. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her two kids, and her family. Jennifer is also a huge Dodgers fan!!
Patty Hierro – Registered Dental Assistant/Treatment Coordinator
Patty Hierro is an exceptional RDA that’s been in the dental field for 8 years providing efficient & competent service in a busy dental office…You may see her floating front office and back office to ensure an easy, smooth dental visit.
She has excellent patient care skills and strong administrative skills. Patty plans to further her education to become a dental hygienist.
Patty enjoys traveling and hanging out with her friends, family, and dog, Kobe. She also enjoys watching sports. Her favorite teams are Seahawks, USC, Lakers, and Dodgers.
Valerie Medel – Dental Assistant
Valerie has been in the dental field for 14 years. She is currently working towards getting her RDA. When she is not at work, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband and two kids. She is always looking forward to new challenges in life, both personally and professionally.
Lilian – Registered Dental Hygienist
Mabuhay! Lilian Regalado is a practicing Registered Dental Hygienist for 10 years now. She provides excellent patient care to children and adults. She is kind and compassionate. During her free time, she loves to travel, try out new cuisine with her family and friends.

Mission Trip to Mexico
Patty Hierro, one of our Registered Dental Assistants, recently came back from a mission trip in Mexico.
I’m so grateful to have been able to experience this amazing mission trip in San Quintin, Mexico. It’s a rewarding feeling to give back by doing what I love and enjoy. Seeing the smile on everyone’s face after treating them was the best thing and it makes my job a lot easier knowing that I’m making a difference.
